On the next day of my return to Japan, I went to eat some fresh seafood in the centre of Kobe. This is a sushi restaunant in Sannomiya where they serve mainly sushi and grilled eel. I took some raw freshly caught shrimps and cooked rod roe (mass of fish eggs) with a bowl of rice and miso soup "Aakadashi", miso soup made from fermented bean pasto. In traditional sushi restaurants, they serve this dark brown coloured miso soup instead of ordinary light brown coloured miso soup. I first stirred the soup and sipped some. Then, I had a portion of rice. Afterwards, I mixed a small position of wasabi into soy sauce. Then I picked up a raw shrimp, dipped into the sauce before brought it into the mouth to taste it. Delicious! I haven't had a chance to eat raw fish in two years. It is always a great feeling to taste a traditional Japanese food! Total cost was 2,750 yen.
