The lady who runs the place is a force of nature! We entered expecting a quick cup of coffee, we left having played a Koto (a Japanese zither-like instrument) and having met local passersby. What a wonderful experience.

A lovely and very down to earth cafe nestled in the shade of towering cedar trees on the mountain side within Hachiman shine. Enjoyed a delicious tea made from seven hand picked herbs with zenzai (mochi with red beans). Authentic and fresh. Open daily from 10:30 am. Closed Wednesdays. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
