We were visiting Malaysia last year and came to Mantra to see if we could relive the Malay moments from last year trip as the chef is originally from Malaysia. And we did. Many interesting flavors and flavor combinations throughout the Borneo menu. The dishes just got better and better towards the end of the menu. Our most favorite were the fish dish with lamb jus, kalamansi sauce, and after the tamarind sorbet. The cuisson was on point. The flavors did remind us of Malaysian food. So good.
