NOT an authentic Spanish restaurant. The place is dark and the staff speak German not Spanish. They play Spanish music which was nice. The food was ok; the tapas are not serve on a toasted piece of bread with olive oil and tomatoe base sauce. They serve in a small tub. You have to pay €2 for sliced bread that’s not even toasted. The paella was SALTY. If you have high blood pressure it can kill you. If you looking for authentic Spanish food don’t come here. Visually, the restaurant looks relatively unimaginative. Toilets, tables and dishes were clean. Service is a bit slow and not very communicative, the waiting time for the food is a bit too long considering the restaurant was only half full. As stated on the card, the bill per table can only be paid collectively. Prices are in the mid/high range but okay. Food was a bit too oily but seasoned well. The paella was sufficient and tasty. I think there are better tapas places in Vienna but Manzana is recommended to see for yourself.
