I offer the following review as an account of MY experience at Manzara Cafe, and is in no way an attempt to bash this business, nor to dissuade others from patronizing this business. Review: I ordered a spinach börek from the display cooler and a cappuccino w/a liquid hazelnut sweetener shot (total ~$13). While the cappuccino was large, which I appreciated, it was very watery and lacked any depth in flavor. The börek (similar to spanakopita) was quite oily. I've never had it before, so maybe that's how it's supposed to be. I did eat all of the börek because (in this economy) it feels wasteful to not. It also wasn't so bad that it was inedible, but it was a heavy meal due to the oil content. It was a quiet place (~11a) that one could easily have a conversation in, study, or do work on a computer. Although, the sides of the chairs would be tight for someone with wider thighs to be truly comfortable sitting for any length of time. Came here with my partner and a couple friends for lunch, $48 for just me and my partner for 2 lattes, 2 sandwiches, and a piece of cake. My latte was bad, my sandwich was good but my friend ordered the same one and they gave him my customization that he didn’t ask for. My partner asked for “a double latte” and they gave him and charged him for two whole lattes. My other friend’s waffle took fully 40 minutes to be served when we were one of only two parties on a sunday afternoon. Every drink and food we ordered came out one at a time over the course of an hour. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Wonderful cafe with a chill and welcoming vibe. We tried the spinach borek and beef borek and they were phenomenal. The hot chocolate was delicious; so much better than what the chains offer (and complete with halal marshmallows). Our kids loved their waffles with ice cream. They have games and books available and it was fun to play some tic tac toe and chess after ordering. So glad to have checked it out and can’t wait to go back!
