Right after seeing The House of St Barnabas, come here for a meal. At this place visitors can delve deep into delicious meals, and taste perfectly cooked monkfish, lobster thermidor and smoked salmon. This restaurant should be recommended for tasty knickerbocker glory, soufflés and banana split. Get your meal started with delicious house wine, brandy or Mimosas. Clients visit Manzi's to drink good coffee.

A cozy place with a beautiful interior is all you need for a holiday with your family. The efficient staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. The terrific service is a big plus of this place. From the guests' viewpoint, prices are adequate. This spot is rated on Google 4.4 by its guests.

Should be avoided. The good: nice decor, really leaned into the mermaid / underwater fantasy vibe, including upstairs bar being held up by mermaid statues. Food presented well. That's it. The bad: - no seafood tower which was part of the draw, our server even acknowledged it was still on the website but didn't say why they didn't have it - food was bland and average at best: oysters, fish and chips, and fish pie - drinks were subpar for their price of £16-17 each - entrance is in an alleyway that smelled of urine, which really sets the mood - charged us for every. single. item. Servers failed to tell us that these were all extra: sparkling water, still water, bread, bar olives, bar nuts (see receipt). One might argue this is a cultural thing as we are from the US, but we were in London for 5 days and nowhere else charged extra. I mentioned to the manager on the way out that they should tell patrons things are going to be extra and she looked at me like I was a simpleton. Added £20 to a meal that looking back already wasn't worth the money. - place was dead on a Saturday night. Maybe I should have known and maybe that's due to others having experiences similar to us. Twelve of us on a Friday at Manzi's for one of our regular long lunches at Central London venues, happily accommodated at a table in the main restaurant - we're not keen on private dining. Delightful decor and ambiance, excellent attentive service. A la carte, not confined to a set menu. We pre-ordered our dishes and wines to make life easy on the day, Manzi's provided place cards according to our seating plan, and everything went like clockwork. Oysters, dressed crab, scallops, hake, monkfish, haddock, lobster linguine, sides, desserts, all tip-top, fresh, decent portions, very nicely prepared and presented. Good white and red wines at sensible prices. After lunch, sat outside for an hour or so with yet more wine, and continued friendly service. A really rewarding and enjoyable afternoon.
