Small store, but the food packs lots of flavor! Very good and fresh American pizza, plus garlic knots. Nice spot to grab lunch/a snack while walking around the area. Here with another pizza review. This time we’re at Maple Pizza in Tokyo. Listen, Tokyo has numerous pizza spots, but the majority of them are Italian style. New York style pizza (the superior pizza) is rare. This is a typical New York style football pie done very well. Great undercarriage and crisp. Sauce is nice and not too tangy. Crust is less chewy and slightly sweater than I expect from a NY slice, but overall a very nice slice. This is on par with the best NY style pizza I’ve had in Tokyo. It’s a 7.9 on the one bite scale.
