We decided to try Maple & Ash as a change from our usual steakhouse in Scottsdale, expecting a five-star experience. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. While the atmosphere was lively, it leaned more toward loud and rowdy, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing—except when it impacts the service. Service was noticeably slow, and we had to send back both our espresso and cocktails, which was disappointing. The star of the show was the loaded baked potatoes, which says a lot considering the reputation this place has. To top it off, it took 20 minutes just to get our bill. For the price and hype, we definitely expected more. Wouldn’t rush back anytime soon. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
