Here’s a polished English review: Mapo Ok is one of Seoul’s most iconic traditional restaurants and has been featured in the MICHELIN Guide every year from 2018 to 2025. It has been serving its signature Seolleongtang (Korean beef bone soup) since 1949, preserving the authentic flavors of Korean comfort food for generations. Besides seolleongtang, the menu also includes excellent Suyuk (boiled beef slices), Brisket Soup, and Beef Belly Soup, all prepared with high-quality Korean beef. Mapo Ok has continued to earn recognition in the MICHELIN Guide for its outstanding traditional cuisine. Parking is convenient. There is a public parking lot directly in front of the restaurant, and if it happens to be full, a much larger public parking lot is only about a 100-meter walk behind the building. If you want to experience the true taste of traditional Korean gukbap culture, this is one of the best places to visit. Not worth it. It don't know how they got Michelin rating. Beef Soup is so-so and pricy. Lowest price dish is over 20,000. Don't waist your time getting here.
