This was a nice little place but is no longer here. It is now a branch of Hipps fish and chip shop

We had a fantastic afternoon tea here today in the vault downstairs. It was brilliant. Plenty of food we couldn’t eat it all and had plenty to bring home to share. The owner and staff were very helpful and attentive and it was very clean. We will definitely be returning. They also hold children’s parties there too. It was set up ready to go for one later today. Thank you Mar Tea Room.

Friends took me for afternoon tea for my birthday a few weeks ago the food, service and overall experience was superb. I decided to try lunch today with my husband and was not disappointed. Yet again could not fault anything. After reading bad reviews was really surprised by the comments made. Maybe those customers are more used to the greasy spoon cafes in elm park. If you've not tried the tea room give it a try you will be pleasantly surprised by this family run business
