We ordered six dishes at MarBar: pan con tomate, patatas bravas, anchovies with chips, tacos de pollo, scallops, and grilled octopus. The food was excellent across the board. The pan con tomate stood out right away, the bread was light, crisp, and carried a fresh tomato flavour that set the tone for the meal. Every dish that followed was cooked with care and precision. The octopus was tender, the scallops were done just right, and everything came out flavourful and well balanced. Service was smooth and welcoming. The staff were pleasant, attentive, and comfortable switching to English, which made the experience easy and relaxed. The only downside was that tap water was not available, so we had to purchase bottled water. Overall, a very strong experience. Great food, solid service, and a place worth returning to.
