Absolutely wonderful restaurant and a fantastic meal from start to finish. Could not recommend highly enough. We were looking forward to a good fish meal at a restaurant that comes highly rated but the attitude of the owner and the server were very odd from the first moment and throughout. When I asked if I could have with my fish some vegetables, without blinking he said ‘we are a fish restaurant of course we don’t have vegetable’.., The restaurant is split between two parts both playing quite loud music but with un synchronise speakers so you’re hearing the same song with about 10 seconds difference between each other, the playlist also repeats itself every 30 min. The server attitude was very poor but the fish was ok, everything comes with chips or potatoes, the chips were oily and we left most of our portions, no other side options. We come to Ramsgate every year with our Boat but I will definitely not return to this one Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

I have eaten at hundreds of restaurants over the years and this is the first time I have ever given a five star rating. For me, if everything is as expected, that's worthy of three stars. All of Marc's produce is exquisite; if it's not, then he doesn't serve it - simples. Even if that means an item, which is available normally, can't be served today. This attitude shows his dedication to both his craft and his customers. Ramsgate has many restaurants, some of which are very good. Marc-Pierre's Kitchen exceeds 'good' by a considerable margin. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Gluten free is also available.
