I rarely write a review, but I feel strongly compelled to do so in this case.  I was looking around for a venue to have my husband's funeral luncheon with no success as everywhere I tried was booked for that Saturday, I reached out to Marciano's Restaurant, and it was available (hindsight I can see why).  The woman I spoke with on the phone and met with to book the party was very nice and accommodating. We went over the menu selections etc. (there was one table of customers eating in the restaurant when we were there on Wednesday at dinnertime). She said we could come there on Friday night to set up the tables in the banquet room with tablecloths, candles, flowers, and that we could bring a cake, fruit, whatever.  On Friday we arrived, and the owner Donna was there instead of the "nice lady".  Donna acted like it was a big inconvenience and that she was so busy, but once again there was only one table of customers now on a Friday at 6:30.  Donna came into the room and proceeded to go over the menu selections that had been made and was attempting to change the items.  She said that the crabcake dinner was not part of the package however it is clearly printed on the event menu paper and on their website, so Donna begrudgingly said she would honor it, like she was doing me a favor. Then she was changing the individual salads to a "family style salad" served in large bowls for my guests to pass around, which I immediately objected to, then she said that seeing as I brought a cake and fruit platters that she didn't need to provide the agreed upon, and menu included dessert (which on the day of the luncheon she didn't serve or offer the ice cream to my guests).   We then proceeded to set up the room, however the tables and the saltshakers were all sticky, so I asked for a wet towel to wipe them down, I was given a spray bottle and dirty towel to do this with. On the day of the funeral Donna, the owner and her obviously intoxicated husband, were our server and bus boy.  The crabcake meals, which she was trying to steer my guests away from, because it was a more expensive option for her than the other items, were ridiculously small portions when served.  There was coffee served in a lipstick marked cup that was returned by a guest.  Both Donna and her husband were loud and very unprofessional throughout the entire time.  Personalities more suited for a biker bar than a restaurant luncheon. When it came time to settle up Donna handed me a printout ticket and walked away, so I took it over to her husband to pay.  He hands me the credit card slip to sign, which I did and gave it back to him.  He then says in quite a loud voice "what no tip" so I told him to look at the slip that his wife had given me and that she had already included a 20% tip in the total.   The entire time that we were there I did not see a single customer in the restaurant, really no big mystery.   I gave it two stars, the restaurant and owners only deserve one star, but I added one star for the "nice lady".
