I’ve been living in Japan for about 8 months my Japanese is limited. I ordered 1,650 yen of food and gave the worker 2,000 yen he handed me my token for food and I stood their waiting for my change and because he continued on I assumed it would be given to me after. He didn’t give me my change while it’s only 350 yen (it doesn’t bother me at all but the manner in which I was serviced did. Kind of bummed me out for someone who considers herself a local.
