5 euros for vegan Saitankebab, soft bread in the shape of a boat, large portion. There was no spit, the Saitan is fried in a large, round electric grill. You don't get any real grill flavors, but the Saitan is really very good and also strongly seasoned. I enjoyed it very much, I didn't miss the meat for a second. It's drier than normal meat, but that's offset by the really perfect garlic dill yoghurt sauce (top!). It wasn't too thin either and so you could eat the kebab well without messing everything up. Other side dishes included Lollo Rosso lettuce, tomatoes, onions, red cabbage, very thin carrot sticks and fresh parsley. The bread literally knocked my socks off, it couldn't be better (top!). The oblong shape might be debatable, but the consistency was perfect. It absorbed everything well, was still nice and soft and was easy to bite off without tearing. (It comes fresh from a baker, also directly at the market) The kebab was topped with a lot of love and there was a bit of everything until the end. It is important that you can enjoy the kebab from the first bite to the last. The restaurant is small but nice and clean. The salespeople were super friendly and you can tell they enjoyed working. Conclusion: the fact that the kebab was vegan meant no disadvantage at all. The rest was perfect and the Saitan was also ideal as a meat substitute thanks to its strong seasoning. I would eat exactly the same again in a heartbeat! was a top kebab!
