We ate extremely well at Margherì Pizzeria & Trattoria. At last, a truly Italian restaurant in Estepona! Our perfect plan was cycling along the coastal promenade and stopping here for lunch, and it couldn’t have been better. The bread served at the start, paired with olive oil, is simply dreamy. The pizza was excellent; we chose the Golosa and added tomato sauce to the base. The guanciale was wonderfully tasty and perfectly crisp. We also enjoyed the panzerotti, arancini (not quite like the Sicilian original, but still very enjoyable), and vitello tonnato, all accompanied by a good Lambrusco. We finished with tiramisu and coffee, both superb. Everything was absolutely delicious. Prices are very reasonable; it’s not the cheapest, but considering the location just a few metres from the beach on the Costa del Sol, it’s more than fair. We will definitely be back next summer!
