We had to wait awhile on a Sunday night, but the food was worth the wait. Once we were seated, service was quick. Our waiter was very friendly and understanding about my weird eggplant allergy. Eating vegetarian here was also easy since there's a whole vegetarian section on the menu. Meal type: Dinner Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section, Clearly labeled vegetarian dishes

Mari Mari in Milpitas is a decent Malaysian spot with some hits and misses. The curry mee is the standout — rich, thick broth with a well-balanced spice level that doesn't overwhelm. Definitely worth ordering. The nasi lemak, however, was a bit of a letdown. As Malaysia's national dish, it carries high expectations, and while it wasn't bad, it fell noticeably short of the authentic version. A good attempt, but it may leave those familiar with the real thing wanting more. Overall, come for the curry mee and you won't be disappointed!
