If you want authentic Mexican food made with soul, look no further. Maria is an amazing chef who cooks everything from scratch, and you can really taste the difference—the flavors are bold, fresh, and totally 'snagging.' But what makes this spot truly special is Maria and Frank's presence. They are an active pillar of the community and lead with such a generous, passionate spirit. We heard about Maria's Mexican restaurant from some friends, they were in Downtown Fargo recently and stumbled upon this restaurant a half block west of Broadway on the Northside of 1st Avenue. They went on and on about the food, and how great it is and that the service was spot on. Since I saw the impression it had on them we took a 30 mile drive to check it out today. We were not disappointed, the food is not only flavorful and savory, it's down right Delicious! This establishment has created a place that allowed me to reminisce with forgotten tastes of years gone by while providing an excellent overall experience.
