We had a great evening at Mariluca. The staff were so warm, welcoming and professional. The food was delicious, and there was something to suit everyone's palate. I take no pleasure in writing this, but honesty compels me: this was arguably the worst pasta I've ever been served. To be fair, the evening started promisingly. Our waitress was warm, attentive, and genuinely charming — a real highlight. The olives were good, the drinks fine, and the no-frills ambience has a certain rustic appeal that the Google Maps photos accurately capture. No complaints there. Then the food arrived. My gnocchi was mealy and textureless, drowning in a cream sauce with nothing else to say for itself. My wife's shrimp linguine was equally bland — no depth, no seasoning, no life, nothing. For a restaurant at this price point, that's simply not good enough. The 4.9-star rating is, I'm sorry to say, completely undeserved. If you're considering a visit — especially if you were hoping for pizza (there is none) — save yourself the disappointment, go elsewhere.
