We had lunch here and its a quirky pub with a friendly service and great menu. All of the food was served fresh and presented well. The portion sizes were really good and most importantly the food was very tasty. I had the cheeseburger and fries and the cheeseburger was served with fried onion and a juicy thick burger that seemed homemade which was really good and lovely fresh bun which wasn't a brioche bun which makes a lovely change. The skin on the fries again really nice. And the side salad was fresh and had a lovely salad vingerette. We all enjoyed our food and they have a great drinks choice too. Very reasonably priced. So I would highly recommend a visit for breakfast lunch or dinner. Price per person: £10–20

Went to visit family for the weekend and stayed at the Travelodge next door, and had a couple of drinks in the afternoon at the Mariners Bar..then we had dinner with family in the evening and then on the way bk to the travelodge around 9 30ish pm we decided to call again for drink and sit outside.. we got served with drink and then was told we couldn't sit outside with any under 18 after 9 30pm, and the barman knew we had under 18 with us. So why serve us in the first place??? .we did mention about a pavement licence and the barman said that they had one, but all along THEY DID NOT HAVE A PAVEMENT LICENCE. Service: 1 Price per person: £1–10
