Bought a pizza today from Mario's. Old gaurd, are retired, new family members running the place. Ordered a Sicilian pizza half pepperoni half sausage. 0 sauce on pizza dry as a board. 7 pepperoni on 1 half.shaved so thin see through. Barely and peppers or onions. $45.00 Bought for a relative in from out of town...embarassed to serve to my guest. I will never come to this restaurant Again.

Soooo... i have been passing this Mario's for many years... and finally someone said.... hey, let's try Mario's. Now I prefer local establishments over a chain most days... today wasn't the day. The bread came out and I will say, I got excited, it wasn't terrific, but it was good... alas, it stopped at the bread. Next came the salad... what an oddity, the house dressing seemed to have a ginger base (odd for an Italian restaurant).... and the salad itself had the weirdest flavor... needless to say it was three bites and done... but there was still hope, i had ordered the mixed plate, eggplant and veal parmesan... the thought being if one is bad the other can't be... I was wrong. The veal scored solid D- and the eggplant at best a C-... then i got the check and was truly amazed... it was close to twice what it was worth... but i should have done the math... any place that charges 15.00 for broccoli... yes, plain old broccoli, is going to get their pound of flesh out of you. Needless to say, after all these years, my curiosity has been answered... and the answer is a resounding NO! Price per person: $50–60

Thank you for giving Mario’s a try and for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry your experience didn’t meet expectations. We did want to clarify that our house dressing does not contain ginger and the broccoli you referenced is an appetizer sized portion meant to be shared rather than an individual side. We appreciate your comments and will share them with the team. Thanks again!
