Extremely disappointing experience. We had a reservation for 8:30 PM but were not seated until 8:50 PM. After finally being seated, we had to wait over 1.5 hours for our food to arrive, which is completely unacceptable. When the food eventually came, it was incredibly bland and lacked any real flavor. To make matters worse, the presentation was awful – it genuinely looked as if it had been prepared by ten five-year-olds. The dishes were messy, unappealing, and far below the standard you would expect from a restaurant. What made the experience even worse was the staff’s attitude. They were rude and unprofessional throughout the evening. When we tried to raise our concerns, they refused to accept any criticism in a mature or respectful manner and instead became defensive. A restaurant should be able to handle customer feedback professionally, especially when the service has been this poor. Between the long delays, the tasteless food, and the unpleasant attitude from the staff, this was easily one of the worst restaurant experiences we have had. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–40

We came to Marisma for a family lunch and we were very impressed by the food and the service. The waitress Maria was incredibly helpful and attentive, whilst also being friendly and made us laugh. We shared starters (the pork croquettes were a family favourite), and then shared a black paella which was served to us at the table. The whole experience was excellent and we would definitely return next time we are in Porto Petro. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
