Didn't stay but popped in for a morning drink, looked at the menu and had to book and select our table. Attentive and knowledgeable staff and great food and drinks list. If you're a real ale enthusiast then this is a must visit, apart from the fact it's a lovely small yet vibrant town. Service: 5

Fantastic stay at this lovely hotel. Pretty room, immaculately clean and comfortable. Fabulous breakfast. The food at the restaurant was great, the service was attentive and the menu had a great range of interesting specials. Vibrant and relaxed bar with friendly but efficient staff. Easingwold is a beautiful town with easy access to York and the North Yorks coast. We had a really great stay and loved exploring the area, thank you! Service: 5

Just had dinner at the George Hotel Easingwold , very disappointing. The woman in charge came to ask how our meals were (up to this point the service was very friendly) : when I said my roast beef was very chewy and I couldn't eat it she responded by saying their customers complement them on their topside. What is the point asking how your food is if you then ignore what the customer tells you. My hubby agreed the beef was chewy. I ate the meal minus the beef but would not recommend to anyone. We were billed the full price!!
