My wife, daughter and I were treated to one of the tastiest meals we have had in years. In addition to the quality of the ingredients and the magic created by Mark in the preparation of the food, the intimate experience of the entire evening was so unique and memorable. If you’re fortunate enough to dine here you will not be disappointed, instead you’ll be writing a 5 star review the following day spreading the word of this superb restaurant. Mark’s Tokyo was a fantastic dining experience in the heart of Meguro. The food alone is worth the visit, but what truly made Mark’s special was the way Mark and his staff make you feel as though you are being welcomed into their home for dinner. The team’s hospitality was top-notch, and Mark’s warm personality made the evening even more enjoyable. I’m kicking myself for not visiting sooner, and with so many amazing restaurants in Japan I usually try not to repeat places — however, I will definitely be back for another meal. You'll come for the excellent food, but you'll leave feeling you have joined Mark's circle of friends. It's equal parts cheffing and chatting. Mark's personal attention to each guest makes it an intimate atmosphere. Guests exchange stories and by the end of the omakase set you have made some friends and learned a whole lot about the food, the locally sourced farm to table ingredients and Mark's story. He is equally interested in your story if you choose to join in the conversational opportunities. It's an experience. You'll want to come back. Mark's Tokyo will become your Tokyo.
