Best all-rounder restaurant in Kata The atmosphere is nice and the service is polite and well-spoken. This is the best all-round restaurant in Kata. In the evening they have a charcoal grill that makes great BBQ and excellent grilled meat. The Thai food is exceptional and tastes authentic despite the large international menu. The egg fried rice had a great, well-balanced roasted flavor. The cocktails are strong and the happy hour makes it cheap to get drunk. Highly recommended in the Kata area. Saw a few foreigners seating there while I was walking in the morning to my hotel, after arriving from a 6h flight + a long drive from the airport, I was HUNGRY and thought that Marmara could be a good choice for breakfast but seating there was a mistake. Walk a bit further kata beach direction to Kiri, excellent restaurant! While I was there many people came in for breakfast, and it seemed like to be recurring customers, for my surprise. Ordered breakfast plate with smoked salmon avocado eggs and hashbrown. Food was tasteless, salmon tasted absolutely like nothing, the hashbrowns was swimming in oil, even the avocado didn't have taste. Very expensive comparing likewise restaurants. Background international music playing, but not noisy. Card payment surcharge of 4%. kindly note I was very hungry and still food was extremely disappointing. Staff was great and polite and antecipated my needs hence 2 stars. You can smoke inside. I wouldn't recommend or come back. had such a wonderful experience at Marmara Restaurant in Phuket! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. But what truly made the evening special was the service. Bella, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She was warm, attentive, and always had a smile on her face. Bella took the time to explain the menu, gave great recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal.
