Marti's at Midday emphasis on the MID. This food is NOT tasty. I am not sure what people are raving about here. This food is soggy, bland, and has weird ratios of bread to filling. My work keeps ordering these constantly. While I appreciate the occasional free lunch I am SICK of Marti's and it makes me not even want to go to the events. Sorry to Marti but I just don't think your sandwiches are good. If you are a company or group looking for catering options please pick something else! All these positive reviews have me genuinely questioning my sanity. My work has been ordering these sandwiches for the past year on a near-weekly basis and they are nigh on inedible. The bread is so soggy it's almost pudding. The pita chips are burnt to a crisp. The lettuce in the salad is brown and wilted. I'm not exaggerating when I say these are the absolute worst sandwiches I have ever had, and I can't imagine the restaurant would stay open another week if they were serving them this way to everyone. Does the chef have it out for us in particular? Or is my work secretly buying these a few days ahead of time and just letting them rot? I was secretly polling people and trying to finally get up the courage to ask our office staff to order from a different restaurant and now I feel like I'm losing my mind. Leaving the review at 3 stars until I get to the bottom of this. Food: 1

Marti's at Midday catered brunch for my wedding party day-of. Everything was on time, tasty, beautifully presented, and my out-of-town friends loved the touch of Southern hospitality Marti's bites brought to our day together. My husband and I also hosted a goodbye brunch for our guests the day after our wedding at Marti's. Their space is cozy, charming, and offers guests an experience at an Athens institution! I still have guests asking me about their shrimp and grits and if Jay plans to get hooked into a service like Goldbelly to ship their chicken salad more widely :) Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Pita Chips, Curry Chicken Salad, Chicken Salad, Pimento Cheese
