I visited here a few years ago and ordered unagiju, but unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. Since then, whenever I go to Yagyu, I go to eat the ramen at the Chinese restaurant next to the lumber shop, which is delicious! I haven't been going to Yagyu for a while, but every time I eat unagiju elsewhere, I still remember the sludge-smelling eel from Maruichi! I wonder if they still serve eel like that? I complained to the staff and asked them to taste it, but they dismissed it and said it was nothing. I took the eel back to Teishu and gave it to my family to taste. My family also threw up. It stinks, what is this? It's already quite a long time ago. I don't plan on going there again though!
