My family waited 1 1/2 hours after the food order was taken and were still not served. Several tables near us were seated after we came in and were served . We understand that it was a busy day for them but there comes a point when a restaurant owner must simply say, we can take any more customers until we get the ones we have taken care of. The problem was not caused by staffing but was caused by greed. Marys Cafe is known for its Chicken Fried Steak but there are thousands of good CFS restaurants in the state of Texas.
Marys has lost us as customers. Not a big loss except for the number of people we can influence to stay away from this establishment. Many reviews say the food is worth the wait, believe me when I tell you it is not
