We stopped in for lunch on the way to Flatonia. The beef tacos, rice and beans were excellent. We will be back. Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Huge issue about replacing a wrong order when I had the receipt and the food they said if it wasn't call in the same day that it would not be replaced this food was for a 88 year old lady that I work for once a week and she told me today which was the next time I worked that's Wrong to do her like that and the food is so small they cheat anyway..and I can smell the Bathroom because it is so small and clogged with 15 people working in such a small area to prepare the food..go some where else to Avoid Anxiety Parking: It is out in the hwy very dangerous to get out Service: Take out Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Recommended dishes: Mini Tacos De Bistec Pastor Carnitas Barbacoa Parking space: Difficult to find parking Parking options: Parking is unavailable

I've been driving from DFW-land to the Port Aransas for years...and Shiner is usually on my route....but from now on...it will ALWAYS be on my itinerary because of Mary's Tacos. ...can't tell you how many times I've driven by this quaint, unassuming spot. The food was super yummy for an "on-the-go" lunch...service was super friendly and really, really fast. I had the caldo de res....no stringy, greasy beef like some places. I got the small serving and it was filling and very satisfying. Can't wait for my next road trip.
