Masago 鰻和食屋まさご @ Japan We visited Masago (鰻和食屋まさご) on 17 November 2025 while driving toward Kawaguchiko, and it was a perfect lunch stop along the way. The restaurant has its own designated parking area , making it convenient for travellers passing through. Inside, the atmosphere feels warm and traditional , with a cosy, homely interior. The staff were friendly and welcoming , creating a pleasant dining experience. We ordered: • Unagi meal – tender, rich, and beautifully seasoned • Tempura prawn – crispy, light, and not oily Both dishes were flavourful and satisfying, prepared with care and fresh ingredients. Masago is a great stopover during a road trip — delicious food, relaxing ambience, and easy parking make it a comforting break on the journey. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
