stopped by for a quick lunch in the area, and found MASALA HOUSE. The excellent food was needless to say, awesome. We asked for barely spicy food, and we got it right. Very nice aromas and the taste were delicious on each thing we order. The mango juice was the best. we ordered extra rice so not to leave the main course leftovers behind since they were awesome. The Nam was very tasty too. The price for lunch for 2 was just under 35 buck, hard to beat (it included side dishes, main dish, juice, and desserts). Since we just moved to this neighborhood, I think we will be coming pretty often, as the service was super good, the prices are very reasonable and accesible, and the food had a superb taste.. and they have many veggies dishes options. Loved this place! It was very clean, and the staff was attentive, checking in throughout our meal. We ordered the chicken tikka masala with garlic naan and the tandoori mixed grill. Both dishes came out hot, were full of flavor, and tasted excellent. We’ll definitely be back! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I finally had the chance to try Masala House, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, creating a relaxed dining experience from start to finish. I started with the Gobi Manchurian, and it was outstanding. The cauliflower was perfectly crispy with a delicious sweet-and-savory sauce that had just the right amount of spice. It’s a fantastic appetizer and one I’d order again without hesitation. For my entrées, we had the Lamb Tikka Masala and the Chicken Korma, and both were exceptional. (And yes, I took lots home for leftovers!) The Lamb Tikka Masala was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor, with incredibly tender lamb in every bite. The Chicken Korma was equally impressive, smooth, mildly spiced, and wonderfully balanced with subtle sweetness from the traditional ingredients. Both dishes were served with perfectly cooked basmati rice and showcased the authentic North Indian flavors Masala House is known for. If you’re looking for authentic Indian cuisine in the North Raleigh area, Masala House deserves a spot at the top of your list. The quality of the food, the generous portions, and the friendly service made this an easy five-star experience. I already know I’ll be back to explore more of the menu.
