Friends of ours told us about this restaurant, and we are SO glad they did. It's small but mighty, seating approx 20 at five tables. This is an authentic sandwich shop, that offers a lot more than sandwiches. The menu has an extensive list of sandwiches prepared with homemade Focaccia bread. You'll also find pizzas, pastas, sides, croissants and desserts. The sandwiches are made to order with meats and cheeses that aren't typical Cuencano fare. After we ordered, Celeste brought out a onion jam and Focaccia for us to try for no charge. The jam is house made, sweet and savory. Today my husband tried a sandwich with pastrami, smoked mozzarella, pickle, and onion jam. It's delicious and beautiful! I ordered the Paraiso. It is beautiful Focaccia bread with Mortadello, burrata mozzarella, pistachios, basil pesto, grana Italiano cheese. Most of their sandwiches come in medium or grand size. There are three vegetarian sandwich options as well. For beverages they off coffees, bee s, wines, juices, in addition to a few cocktails. This place is a gem. Don't miss it!
