Walk in, it's a tent by the water, and pick what you want to grill. 1300yen for 1 kg of fresh oysters! 1000 for 4 fresh sea snails. Some things are frozen (fugu and corn) but most are fresh and live. The oysters are so good they don't need anything added but they have some options for topping (soy sauce, ponzu, butter, togarashi, Kewpie, lemon). s Sounds like BYOB but the do sell beer and highballs. They offer windbreakers to cut down on the amount of smoke smell, but they are gas burners so not as smoky. Had a great time, went back for another basket of oysters, got octopus skewers, jumbo prawns as well, so many choices we didn't even try half of it. Definitely worth the trip out! I heard that the 2024-2025 oyster season at Fukuyoshi Fishing Port will start on Saturday, November 2nd, so I immediately came to the store. This time I visited Kaki no Masuda. I didn't want the place to be full, so I called to make a reservation on the morning of the day just in case. It's still early in the season, so it was empty when I visited, but I think it's better to make a reservation from now on. You can place your first order and pay at the reception desk, and then order additional items from your seat on LINE. In that case, you can pay the additional amount at the reception when you leave. Oysters can be purchased in 1kg units, so we purchased 2kg for the two of us visiting this time. You can bring in alcohol, rice balls, seasonings, etc., so I think it's nice that you can just order oysters. In addition to the oyster fee, there is a table charge and gas fee, but considering that you can bring your own food, I think it's quite reasonable. I wanted to drink some alcohol today, so I took the train to Fukuyoshi Station, and it was about a 10 minute walk to the fishing port. There is a convenience store along the way, so I recommend buying anything you need. Parking: The parking lot is shared by multiple oyster huts. It's free, but space may run out during busy periods.
