The hamburg was delicious. I followed the example of the table next to me and ordered the “Masou Hamburg,” and it was good. Serving sizes were generous, you could see the chef at work and we enjoyed every bite. My mum felt that the hamburg was too soft and wondered if the patty was cooked well. The staff were friendly, the service was attentive, and the restaurant had a cheerful atmosphere. Was very satisfied with the meal. A side note — we had been looking for this restaurant because of google reviews but couldn’t find it (it’s hidden down a slightly narrow alley behind a very prominent Yakiniku restaurant) There was a young man holding up a menu outside the Yakiniku restaurant to attract customers. The dishes on the menu looked delicious, and we almost sat down at the Yakiniku place that we thought he was promoting for. Fortunately, the sun was too strong, so I decided to walk a little further down the alley for another restaurant. Then, that young man came over and told me that the next restaurant hidden in the alley was, in fact, the restaurant he was promoting! It would be good if he found a way to not let people misunderstand and sit down at the next restaurant instead Meal type: Dinner Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Keeping the stars and stripes vibes going. What better place to enjoy an American-inspired meal than American Village itself? Went with a classic Japanese take on a Western favourite — the hamburg steak. It was decent overall. Also finally checked off a local favourite — Sanpin Tea (Okinawa’s jasmine tea) — and a refreshing home-brewed Orion draft beer.
