I visited the restaurant and had a truly wonderful time—thank you so much! ⸻ Location The restaurant is just a short walk from nearby hotels, very easy to find. The view of the harbor and the forest across the water is absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, it was raining during my visit so I sat indoors—but I definitely want to come back and sit outside next time! ⸻ Reservation I visited on the Monday after Midsummer and was able to walk in without a reservation. If you’re coming with a group, I’d recommend booking ahead. The website only allows reservations for 2 or more, so as a solo traveler I couldn’t book online Still, I was warmly welcomed even as a party of one ⸻ Atmosphere The place feels cozy and unpretentious, with a calm and welcoming vibe. At the entrance, there’s a small gift shop selling local goods and Matildedal craft beer. I noticed a bit of spiderweb on the window at first—but since this is a natural area, it felt like a part of coexisting with nature! ⸻ ️ What I Ordered • Salmon Soup Generous portion! The soup wasn’t creamy but light and clear. So tasty! • Archipelago Plate As others mentioned, it’s a bit salty—but that’s exactly why it pairs perfectly with alcohol. It went so well with white wine! • Drinks I tried a refreshing beer called “LAMALE” and a glass of white wine. I loved that they offered several wine options by the glass and let you choose the amount, too! ⸻ ‍ Service The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming! Even though I’m Japanese and can’t speak Finnish or English very well, they were patient and thoughtful. Thanks to them, I could truly enjoy my meal ⸻ Payment Clear and transparent pricing, and they accept credit cards. Some reviews mentioned that it’s a bit pricey, but for me, the experience was absolutely worth it. ⸻ Thank you again for a memorable dinner—I’ll definitely be back! ⸻ Service: 5
