Very delicious, the service was amazing and the owner of the restaurant served us herself. Super kind as well. The food was out of this world. We came here 11 years ago and when we came back everything was just as magnificent as the first time!! Would recommend to everyone!! Price per person: €25–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very cool, old school vibe. We’re late 40’s/early 50’s. The food and wine were excellent. We had the grilled squid, home made tagliatelle, grilled sea bass, braised beef shoulder with gnocchi. We’re from NYC spending our 4th night in Split. We went to 2 Michelin rated restaurants. This was the best meal any of us have had in a long time. When we walked in we could instantly tell the locals eat here. So good Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We booked Matoni to try more traditional Croatian cuisine and to visit a local restaurant away from the tourist places. The restaurant itself is beautiful, situated in a rennovated cellar and has several small dining spaces. The food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. We shared some aubergine dips and artichoke with bread as starters and had traditional meatballs and a tuna pesticada with gnocchi for our mains. All the food was superb and is highly recommended!
