We stopped at this location while canoeing on the river. At first glance, the sight of the beautiful mill wheel raised our hopes. The place serves as a campsite and has a restaurant. The first thing that caught our attention were the toilets, which were quite run-down latrines. From there, we encountered rustic stairs, which, although charming, were difficult for anyone with mobility issues, as was the case for one of our companions. However, we did not have high expectations for handicap accessibility while canoeing in the Czech Republic. We continued to the bar and restaurant, passing signs indicating that any meal would take at least 25 minutes to prepare. The menu was limited and expensive, featuring staples like fried cheese and chicken strips with fries. The prices were around 200 CZK, which is common nowadays. However, the actual experience was a huge disappointment. We received two small chicken strips and a portion of fries comparable to a small McDonald’s serving. This was the most unsatisfactory food we encountered among the 10 establishments we visited on this trip.
