Matsugen Rin, located on Ginza Street in the Chuo district, offers a dining experience that showcases a blend of traditional Japanese flavors and an upscale atmosphere. Known for its handmade soba and diverse menu, this restaurant caters to those seeking an exquisite meal with dishes like duck wrapped in soba crepes. Private room options provide an intimate setting for diners, though some reviews suggest smoking can occasionally be an issue. The restaurant includes amenities such as counter seating, banquet facilities, and a view for patrons who prefer a more dynamic dining environment.
Operating primarily as a lunch spot on weekdays, Matsugen Rin extends its hours on weekends, allowing for a leisurely experience or weekend brunch. While the establishment is reputed to handle reservations and service with care, and plating is executed with timely finesse, some customer testimonials noted noise issues from adjacent rooms. Pricing here reflects its premium dining concept and the exclusive Ginza location. It is important to consider that visitor feedback is outdated, with the latest reviews dating back eight years, indicating a paucity of current information about any changes or developments the restaurant might have undergone.

Wonderful home made soba was delicious and duck wrapped in soba crepe was wonderful. Service and prides were excellent only downside is smoking allowed but we were in a private room but you could still smell it.
