not crazy about the atmosphere.. dark old. service was good, friendly staff. stopped in to have a quick bite had some chicken fingers with a side of disco fries, they were actually very good! many was not very large for a diner.

I've been twice and the food is below average diner food. The first time, I went for brunch and ordered fried chicken and waffles. Food was served to the rest of the table but they forgot about my order. They then made the order, but somehow the chicken was cold--not even lukewarm. The second time I went for dinner and had a burger and fries. Although it had fried onions and cheese on it, somehow I couldn't taste either. The fries were not terrible but not good. Everyone agreed the food was bland.

When in town always Matthews Diner. Large table and lots of food. The men chose their memorable French dip sandwich and the ladies ate their wraps. Cousins had the burger and Tex max rolls. One happy table
