The food is actually pretty good...if you're lucky enough to time your visit right. I've been to this location exactly 4 times: 1. A Wednesday, 4:00. Good food and atmosphere even though I was one of only two customers and it took 20 mins for a single burrito. Solid though; had a second beer and enjoyed my food. 2. A Friday night, 7:00. Despite the posted closing time of 8:00, chairs sort of blocking the door and the worker rudely told me that they were not taking more customers, even though there were people still eating on the patio. 3. The following Friday, 6:30 (see above). Closed again! No explanation this time, either. 4. Monday night, 6:00. They're open! Cool...except we were immediately warned that "you can try to order but we're out of pretty much everything". When we asked for more specifics, the worker just repeated "pretty much everything". We asked about a few items by name and she confirmed they definitely didn't have them. Won't be trying again, they clearly don't want my business. It's a shame; I liked the food that one time.
My first time to eat at Maui Tacos. Choose the Al Pastor quesadilla. OMG it was so delicious. The taste of the pork with the French fries and cheese so unbelievable. The cold guacamole on top sent it over the edge. Never eaten a quesadilla that good .
