I ordered Sanshao rice and fried chicken rice, which tasted good. The claypot rice series will take a while and only accepts cash. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Maxi's Rotisserie is famous for its siumei rice and it's extremely popular among the locals and hk community in Leeds i've ordered the charsiu & siuyuk rice (雙拼飯), and feeling kinda regret i didn't order the roasted duck as well!! their charsiu is barbecued to perfection, the meat is well-flavoured with honey, really tender, and not overly oily the siuyuk is 半肥瘦 (half fatty x half skinny), which is what i also prefer back home ‍ the skin is sooo crispy and goes well with the tender pork the portion's quite huge, so it's definitely satisfying if you're craving some flavours from hk

I think there has been a change. I used to visit the original outlet in the market. Oh wow the soya chicken and the other meats were so succulent and plentiful. We could pour as much chilli oil on and also the ginger and garlic paste. The new place still does the same dishes but the taste and quality is not as good. The crispy belly pork is dryer and the crispy coating is not as good as before. The pieces of chicken are more bony (before you would get fleshy soft and succulent soya chicken). Yet the prices are much higher now. I went yesterday and again today but it just isn’t the same. They used to give green bok Choi as a side dish and now it’s just a cabbage. Please please return to how things used to be. From 2007 to 2018 I used to be addicted to this place because it was so good! Dear management, please consider this message seriously as I’ve noticed a change.
