We were welcomed by a very polite staff. He gave some recommendations to the dishes. We were very pleased with the portions, and prices and the mussels were so good. A couple of things to note though. I made a booking in advance and noted I wanted to dine inside . Unfortunately, when we arrived we were placed outside. Seeing it was a rainy day, it was a little chilly and the heater wasn’t on. That was a little disappointing. While the bolognese was very delicious, the risotto somehow lacked some taste.

Ordered at 11:50am for pick up at 12:45pm(their website has the option for pickup time) and I was there at exactly 12:45pm, still the food was cold. Cold pizza, cold potato wedges as if they were made immediately after order rather than timed with pickup time. Even the portion size of pizza is small compared to other pizza places nearby.

Won’t recommend for pickup.

Took my mum today for her 90th birthday lunch and the staff were so wonderful and attentive, they helped to make her special day just that little bit more special, even sang happy birthday to her. She came away talking about what beautiful people worked there, it's not my first time here and definately wont be my last. I have never had a bad meal here and today was no exception. Thank you Max's Corner for putting a smile on my mum's face, she was extremely happy.
