I was already thirty-something the first time i tried Max's Restaurant. And i have been many times since and i must say that they are among the most consistently good restaurant in terms of food quality, service, satiety level, and overall dining experience! And the Iligan store at Robinson's mall is that Restaurant. Way back when i was a child, we lived in the province and i have fond memories of Max's restaurant and how good their food was. But that was only limited to the vintage TV commercials that i saw and newspaper ad. And i could only imagine that it must be really good.When the family gathers together, and on special occasions, we always go to eat at Max's because we always know that we will not be disappointed!Of course, the Chicken. Well, it is not the best in the planet but you will always love it. Their crispy pata is like the pork version! Woohoo! Seafood kare2x and the regular kare2x is a must try. Sinigang, fried bangus, and most items on the menu are all tasty renditions and aaaall their desserts no kidding, are awesome, refreshing, and pleasing to look at.I would especially like to mention that the staff at the iligan store are best! In all of our visits, we are always accommodated and seated immediately, our orders by fone or in-store came in on time, accurately, hot and fresh, and delicious! And there's always somebody around to attend to our other needs like refills and add ons. Even after eating, they would offer to wrap our scraps as "take aways" for our dog-family members waiting at home. So 5 stars for the staff. The restaurant itself is clean and seating is not cramped and noisy.Also worth mentioning, when my daughter Dani graduated, we ate here and since that was graduation month, i didn't have any problems with booking and waiting, everything went smooth even though we were a big group, it didn't felt like a super busy time at all! Thanks to the staff!Eating at Max's is time and money well spent. Often, the family would spend a couple hours enjoying a good dining time.
