Always good food & excellent service at Maxwells Cafe Wine Bar... I couldn't finished the cheeseburger fries (but they were very good!). Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: £10–20

This place used to be great, however the customer service we received today from the manageress was appalling, the food that arrived was not consistent with the exact same pasta dish ordered by my partner and when we queried this the manageress was incredibly unhelpful at resolving the issue, when the replacement food came back out 2mins after sending it back it was obvious it had had cream added to the original dish and dished straight back out, resembling a cream soup rather than a pasta dish, bland and certainly not worth the £15.50 expected, there was no way it had been made again from fresh as stated by the Manageress, no apology just rolling of eyes and rudeness. Real shame as this place used to be great, ruined what was meant to be a nice lunch out.
