Done our Christmas do party at Ayos. It was a great party. Staff amazingly coordinated. Food very well presented. However too crowded and too noisy, lights too dimmed during dinner. I recently visited the restaurant for a birthday lunch, and while there were some positive aspects, the experience was somewhat underwhelming overall. The atmosphere was okay, but it could definitely be improved to create a more welcoming and intimate setting, especially for special occasions like this. We ordered a meal for two, and while the octopus was decent, I’ve had better elsewhere, including at Ayos restaurant, where the grilled octopus was far superior. The lamb shish kebab was quite good, but the rice was disappointing—just plain basmati, lacking a nice flavour. The service was also underwhelming. The staff didn’t seem particularly welcoming, which, combined with the lackluster atmosphere, made the experience less enjoyable than I had hoped. While the food had its moments, the rice and the overall vibe of the restaurant definitely need improvement. Overall, I’d rate the experience 4 stars. There’s potential here, but with a more inviting atmosphere and a few tweaks to the food and service, it could easily become a standout dining spot.
