Looking for a home cooked meal like your Mami or Abuela cooked it, then you need to try Mayalayna Guatemalan Cafeteria in Fort Myers. It is a quaint and cozy restaurant has Authentic Guatemala food. They have several Caldos to choose from, they had Pepian, Carne Asada, Pupusas just to name a few. Also freshly made Tortillas by hand, cant ask for better. Our food was delicious, very tasting, plates were left cleaned. The staff were very attentive and friendly, even wearing the Traditional Guatemalan clothing. We meet the Owner, she made sure we had were satisfied and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. I highly recommend this place for authentic and reasonable home cooked meal.
