the restaurant itself was nice. on a Saturday night and prom night the place was hardly half full. good clue this is not the place to be. order the Pollo Relleno. comes with rice and cabbage salad. the chicken dish was bland and seemed like some reheated fare heated up in the microwave. that may be unfair as i have had much better microwave mexican dinners purchased in the grocery store. rice was cooked ok, but nothing special. I did not care for the cabbage. no free chips to munch on, but available for a cost. Margaritas from a pre-made dispenser. no quality control, the citrus used was too tart making the margarita taste like acid. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Atmosphere is great, service excellent, and food amazing! I ordered the chicken tortilla soup and it’s one of the best I’ve tasted! Crispy chips and fresh daily made salsa. A varied menu that has options to please everyone in your group. Highly recommend Mayan Kitchen!
