Only just found the maypole after moving down this way five years ago, what a little jem it is. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £1–10

Don't serve food but local takeaway delivers and you can eat in the pub. Hosta are an absolute joy. Thank you for a great night. Will be back again.

I've been to alot of pubs in West Sussex, but none compare to The Maypole Inn.I love the old school charm of the pub and the array of drinks on offer.The staff are beautifully laid back and are always up for a chat.In my honest opinion, You wont find a better pub in West Sussex.I don't know anywhere you can get a pint of Amstel, Old Rosie, chicken & bacon roll and bag of C&H crisps for less than a tenner.Also, theres loads of decent facilities in this joint; like a jukebox, pool table, skittles room and a dart board.The place is out the way, but it is definitely worth taking time out to enjoy the peace and tranquility with a lush pint and a cosy atmosphere.Thanks Maypole Inn
