Absolutely amazing experience at Mazal! The food was fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. The shawarma and hummus were some of the best I’ve had, and the pita tasted freshly made. The staff was super welcoming and the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. Definitely one of the best Mediterranean spots in Charleston — highly recommend! I first visited Mazal Restaurant with friends while traveling through Charleston—and it was so good we came back the very next day. A month later, we were driving up from Savannah and made a point to stop there again. That alone says everything. The food is absolutely incredible. The cheesecake with tahini is unforgettable, and if you’re there on a Sunday, don’t miss their special shawarma—it’s truly something special. Beyond the food, the owner and staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. They go out of their way to make you feel like more than just a customer, which really elevates the whole experience. Everything here was amazing! Dropped by for dinner and they were quick to bring the food out. I had the cauliflower, grilled chicken and humus, and the chef even sent out some cabbage, which was also amazing! Everything tasted great, service was wonderful, and the resteraunt was clean!
