Many guests mention that you can have nicely cooked burgers here. Food delivery is a big plus of this restaurant. Unfortunately, the staff is cool as most visitors note. Based on the guests' opinions, McDonald's is well known for its nice service. Here you will pay fair prices. As a lot of reviewers say, the atmosphere is calm. Very poor McD's this one. Whomever made the Big Mac really just let it go out like that, half the sauce missing, bun to bun, burger to burger! But that's not all, the fries sat on the tray waiting for the big mac for about 10mins, so they were a cardboard textured cold mess. Raspberry Sprite was nice though, I'd buy that again but it didn't save what was a dreadful meal. Fundamental mistakes in service and deliberate poor quality. Price per person: £1–10

Went for the first time to the Caterham branch to give the children a new year's treat as we haven't had a mcdonalds in a long time and fancied trying out the new branch. Was advised by someone who had eaten from there, to not order a delivery and to order first via the app and to actually go and pick up. I parked up in Morrisons, went to do some grocery shopping, dropped the shopping back to the car. I then ordered a meal for 5 from the car via the app. I walked down from Morrisons car park, arrived at the branch and waited for a maximum 1 minute (I had a few customised burgers (fussy children) which usually takes a loooong time for them to make). There were people who were there waiting before me who I guess they ordered at the restaurant and not via app as my order was ready before theirs. My number was called out and I collected my items. This is the fastest mcdonalds ordering service I have ever encountered! Granted, we don't eat at mcdonalds that often but whenever we do, the customised burgers takes such a long time! I went to a table to double check I had everything before leaving. Alas, I was missing a pie, I went back to the counter and the server quickly got me the missing pie and was very apologetic. I found the experience to be a very pleasant one. Great speedy service and hot and delicious food. As I said before, we do not eat Mcdonalds often (it is highly processed after all... once in a while as a naughty treat is ok in my books!) but next time I do, I will be sure to definitely order via the app again especially now I know how easy it is! I have read some previous low score reviews. Delivery does seem to be a big problem with cold food, missing food and food slow to arrive. I don't think a McDonald's meal will ever be at it's best unless you eat at the restaurant or if you live near and collect it yourself. If you get a delivery then expect to have to reheat the food yourself as I highly doubt the driver will be delivering to just you. If you are lucky then that may be the case or you might be the first one out of many to be delivered... but that's only if you are very lucky. The good thing about picking items up yourself, you can check order whilst you're there. Any mistakes can be rectified quickly (I do this with all takeaways). People make mistakes especially if job is new or if they are super busy...or sometimes if workers are just having an off day. It's very annoying especially as you have spent your hard earned money on this treat..but worse things can happen. Give this new business and it's staff a chance. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
